image-upscaling — Claude Code skill: AI image upscaling via each::sense
This skill enlarges images from 2x to 16x through each::sense, with face restoration, noise cleanup and old photo repair along the way.
npx skills add eachlabs/skills --skill image-upscaling -a claude-codeWhat image-upscaling does
The image-upscaling skill sends your image to each::sense and returns it at a higher resolution. Pick the factor by target: 2x for web and social, 4x for print, 8x or 16x for billboards and exhibition panels. Under the hood it posts to https://eachsense-agent.core.eachlabs.run/v1/chat/completions with the eachsense/beta model and streams the reply.
Beyond plain enlargement there are dedicated paths: restoring facial detail on portraits, cutting grain and compression artifacts, repairing vintage photographs, keeping AI-generated art intact, and prepping product shots for storefronts. The eco mode suits quick web work; max is for jobs where detail matters.
You need an EACHLABS_API_KEY — requests fail without one. Images go in as URLs through the image_urls field, so a local file has to be hosted somewhere first.
What it helps with
- enlarge a 1024px image to 4096px for print
- restore facial detail while upscaling a portrait
- strip grain and compression artifacts from a low-light shot
- produce high-resolution product photos for a store listing
- scale up AI artwork without adding stray texture
Example prompts for the agent
- Upscale this image 4x for print and keep the fine details:
https://example.com/magazine-photo.jpg - Do a 4x upscale of this portrait with face enhancement — eyes and skin should stay natural
- Reduce the noise and upscale this photo 4x; it is dark with visible grain and compression artifacts
