ecommerce — Claude Code skill: product catalog from photos
Turns a folder of raw product shots into packshots, cutouts, dimension images and marketplace listing variants for Amazon, Shopify and Etsy.
npx skills add Bria-AI/bria-skill --skill ecommerce -a claude-codeWhat ecommerce does
The ecommerce skill is the entry point to Bria's product pipeline. It renders nothing on its own — the actual work sits in the bria-ai skill, and this one points you at the right scripts and sections. Worth installing if you already use Bria or plan to; otherwise you get a thin wrapper.
Inside bria-ai there is build_catalog.py: feed it a folder of photos and it returns a cutout, a packshot, a dimensions image and lifestyle scenes per product. Marketplace output comes from export_variants.py plus presets for Amazon, Shopify and Etsy, which fix background, aspect ratio, product fill and minimum resolution. Each product can also get a listing.json holding an SEO title, description, bullets and tags.
Separate endpoints cover cutout, packshot, shadow, lifestyle shot from text or an image, product integrate, and Amazon-style dimension images with cm / in callouts, weight and capacity. Resize, crop and composite for the variant exporter are handled by the image-utils skill on Pillow — without it the variant step will not run.
What it helps with
- build packshots from a folder of raw product photos
- cut products off their backgrounds in batch
- produce a dimensions image with cm and inch callouts
- match image specs for Amazon, Shopify and Etsy listings
- generate a lifestyle scene from a text prompt
Example prompts for the agent
- Build a catalog from the
photos/rawfolder: cutouts, packshots and dimension images for every product - Export Amazon and Etsy listing variants from the finished packshots
- Create a lifestyle scene for this product on a wooden table

Questions about ecommerce
How do I install ecommerce in Claude Code?
Run npx skills add Bria-AI/bria-skill --skill ecommerce -a claude-code. The skill file then lives at ~/.claude/skills/ecommerce/SKILL.md.
What does the ecommerce skill do?
It routes you into Bria's product pipeline: the catalog build script, the marketplace variant exporter and a listing scaffold. The image processing itself lives in the bria-ai skill.
How is ecommerce different from bria-ai?
bria-ai is the main skill with every image capability and the full catalog pipeline. ecommerce only covers the product side and links back to it.
What do I need for marketplace variant export?
The variant exporter relies on the image-utils skill for Pillow-based resize, crop and composite.
