What digitalocean-teams does

The skill is a written reference for Teams and Organizations on DigitalOcean. It covers four areas: teams themselves, organizations, roles and permissions, and access security. Teams own shared billing and infrastructure access; organizations group several teams under one bill, payment method and invoice.

Roles get their own section — predefined ones for common access levels, custom ones when a team needs something narrower or wider. On security it lists what to turn on: secure sign-in, 2FA, SSO, plus a review of access changes and membership activity. There is a short workflow too: create the team, set billing owners, invite members, assign roles, enable security policies, then revisit permissions on a schedule.

The skill is marked user-invocable: false with model invocation disabled, so you cannot call it by hand — it loads when the agent is dealing with team structure, permissions or billing. Two related skills, digitalocean-overview and digitalocean-management, are mentioned as optional; this one works without them.

What it helps with

  • explain how a DigitalOcean Team differs from an Organization
  • assign a member the right access level
  • consolidate billing across several teams
  • turn on 2FA and SSO for a team
  • check who changed access and when

Example prompts for the agent

  • Walk me through creating a Team on DigitalOcean and inviting people
  • Which DigitalOcean roles exist and what should I give a contractor?
  • How do I group several teams into an Organization with one invoice?
