What coolify-manager does

This skill hands the agent a set of workflows for Coolify. It checks service and application status, reads logs, starts and stops containers and databases, edits environment variables, and triggers deployments. When the CLI can't do something, the skill falls back to direct REST API calls.

Two scripts ship with it. scripts/install_coolify_cli.sh puts the CLI in ~/.local/bin/coolify, and scripts/check_health.sh prints the CLI version, configured contexts, connection status, and available resources. Reference files cover API endpoints and WordPress repairs. You need access to a Coolify instance and an API token from the dashboard at /security/api-tokens, plus the instance URL. No token means no context, and the skill stalls at step one.

Common breakages are handled step by step. If a site goes down after an .htaccess edit, the skill reads the file under /var/www/html/, finds the offending line, and removes it. PHP limits go up with lines like php_value max_input_vars 3000, no = sign. When Site Health reports the REST API as unavailable but the site works, the skill tests the endpoint with curl and tells a false positive from a real failure.

What it helps with

  • find out why a Coolify-hosted site stopped responding
  • remove a broken line from .htaccess and bring WordPress back
  • raise PHP limits for uploads and memory
  • tell a false REST API warning from a real one
  • read container logs and service status by UUID

Example prompts for the agent

  • The site on Coolify returns 500 after an .htaccess edit — fix it
  • Check the service status and show me the last container logs
  • Raise the PHP upload limits on this WordPress install
