browseros-neo — Claude Code skill: install and use
Routes website tasks to BrowserOS neo, using a browser with a persistent profile and active account sessions. Use it for forms, downloads, page checks, and account actions.
npx skills add browseros-ai/BrowserOS --skill browseros-neo -a claude-codeWhat browseros-neo does
This skill routes website work through BrowserOS neo. An agent can open and read pages, fill forms, sign in, download files, and verify an action's result. BrowserOS neo uses a real browser with a persistent profile and active account sessions.
The connection runs over MCP on the user's machine. Connected agents receive snapshot, act, run, navigate, and tabs. For multi-step work, the skill directs the agent to start with run; granular calls fit one-off actions or debugging. Element references can become stale after a page change, so the agent needs a fresh snapshot.
BrowserOS neo must be running and connected to the agent through MCP. This is a hard dependency: when the connection is missing, the skill does not switch to another browser tool.
What it helps with
- open a website with a persistent browser profile
- fill a form in a signed-in account
- download a file from a page
- verify an action on a website
- inspect page content with
snapshot
Example prompts for the agent
- Use BrowserOS neo to open my account page.
- Use neo to fill in this form and verify the result.
- Use BrowserOS neo to download the file from this page.
