atlas-cloud — Claude Code skill: one API for 300+ models
This skill wires Atlas Cloud into your project: image, video, audio and 3D generation plus LLM calls behind a single API. Useful when you need media generation without writing a wrapper per provider.
npx skills add AtlasCloudAI/atlas-cloud-skills --skill atlas-cloud -a claude-codeWhat atlas-cloud does
The skill documents Atlas Cloud, an aggregation platform that fronts 300+ image, video, audio, 3D and LLM models. Two base URLs matter. Media generation lives at https://api.atlascloud.ai/api/v1, chat completions at https://api.atlascloud.ai/v1 in an OpenAI-compatible shape. Every request carries Authorization: Bearer $ATLASCLOUD_API_KEY.
You need a key. Create one in the Atlas Cloud console and export it as ATLASCLOUD_API_KEY; requests fail without it. There is a second route: the Atlas Cloud plugin for Codex runs a remote MCP server where a browser sign-in replaces the key. In that setup you should not ask the user for a key at all — authorization goes through codex mcp login atlas-cloud.
The skill lists 16 MCP tools: model listing and search, model details, image, video and audio generation, speech-to-text, a one-step quick generate, and local file upload. A hosted connector exposes 14 of them, since atlas_chat and atlas_upload_media are local-only — a remote server cannot read the caller's disk. Video jobs usually run 1-5 minutes, so you poll the prediction ID for the result.
What it helps with
- add text-to-image generation to an existing service
- find a model by keyword and read its parameter schema
- turn text into speech or generate a music track in one call
- transcribe a meeting recording
- upload a local file and get back a public URL
Example prompts for the agent
- Find a video generation model and show me its parameters
- Generate an image from this prompt and poll the prediction ID until it finishes
- Transcribe this audio file to text with Atlas Cloud

Questions about atlas-cloud
How do I install atlas-cloud in Claude Code?
Run npx skills add AtlasCloudAI/atlas-cloud-skills --skill atlas-cloud -a claude-code. The skill lands at ~/.claude/skills/atlas-cloud/SKILL.md.
What does atlas-cloud do?
It covers Atlas Cloud integration: image, video, audio, 3D and LLM calls through one API, plus model discovery and local file upload.
Do I need an API key for this skill?
For integrating Atlas into your own project, yes — your own key in ATLASCLOUD_API_KEY. Through the Atlas Cloud plugin for Codex with its remote MCP server, no key is needed: a browser sign-in or codex mcp login atlas-cloud handles authorization.
