alert-management — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Inspects fired CCAM alerts and manages monitoring rules for token thresholds, inactivity, and status duration.
npx skills add hoangsonww/Claude-Code-Agent-Monitor --skill alert-management -a claude-codeWhat alert-management does
This skill guides the agent through managing alerts via the ccam CLI. It enables checking unacknowledged events with ccam alerts --unacked and viewing existing configurations through ccam alert-rules list.
Every mutating action requires a preview showing the rule name, type, normalized config, and cooldown period. The --yes flag is restricted until confirmed. Acknowledging an alert modifies only the notification state. Underlying sessions remain untouched.
What it helps with
- inspect unacknowledged CCAM alerts from the CLI
- create token threshold rules with explicit cooldown periods
- update or delete existing alert rules by identifier
- connect monitoring alert rules to webhook targets
Example prompts for the agent
- Show all unacknowledged CCAM alerts
- Create a Token guard rule for 1000000 total tokens with a 300 second cooldown
- List all configured CCAM alert rules

# Alert Management
## Read
- `ccam alerts --unacked`
- `ccam alert-rules list`
## Write
Before changing anything, show the rule name, type, normalized config, enabled
state, and cooldown. Use `--yes` only after confirmation.
```bash
ccam alert-rules create --name "Token guard" --type token_threshold \
--config '{"total_tokens":1000000}' --cooldown 300 --yes
```
Use `ccam alert-rules update <id> ... --yes` for partial edits and
`ccam alert-rules delete <id> --yes` for deletion. Acknowledgment changes the
feed state only. It does not change the rule or underlying session.
Never invent rule configs. Read the current rule and provider catalog first.
