What agent-output-reconciler does

There is no check of its own here. The skill tells the agent that as of 0.6.0 the reconciliation work moved into agent-acceptance-gate and became that skill's first step. The report template went with it, to references/reconciliation_template.md.

The rules survived the move. A missing result is still counted apart from a failed one, scope drift gets recorded, and reconciling is not the same as signing off on acceptance. A plan that used to send a round to the reconciler and then to the gate can now do a single gate pass.

The stub disappears in 0.7.0. Any plan or doc that still points at the old name will break after that update, so fixing the reference now costs less than chasing a dead link later.

What it helps with

  • move an old plan onto agent-acceptance-gate without dropping the reconcile step
  • locate the reconciliation report template after the merge
  • keep missing results separate from failed ones in an agent report
  • record scope drift as its own item
  • tell a reconcile pass apart from an acceptance decision

Example prompts for the agent

  • Check the plan for agent-output-reconciler and rewrite that step for agent-acceptance-gate
  • Run the reconcile pass as Step 1: Reconcile and fill in references/reconciliation_template.md
  • Update the docs to point at agent-acceptance-gate, the old stub is going away in 0.7.0

Questions about agent-output-reconciler

How do I install agent-output-reconciler in Claude Code?

Run npx skills add WenyuChiou/agent-collab-skills --skill agent-output-reconciler -a claude-code. The skill file lands at ~/.claude/skills/agent-output-reconciler/SKILL.md.

What does agent-output-reconciler do?

It acts as a redirect, telling the agent that the reconcile work now lives in the first step of agent-acceptance-gate and where the report template moved.

How is it different from agent-acceptance-gate?

This one holds no workflow, only a pointer. The reconcile pass, the rules for sorting results and the report template all sit in agent-acceptance-gate.

# agent-output-reconciler (redirect)

Merged into [agent-acceptance-gate](../agent-acceptance-gate/SKILL.md) in
0.6.0. Run that skill: its "Step 1: Reconcile" is the former workflow, and the
report template moved to
[reconciliation_template.md](../agent-acceptance-gate/references/reconciliation_template.md).

A plan that hands a round to the reconciler and then to the gate now needs one
gate pass. The rules are unchanged: missing and failed results stay distinct,
scope drift is recorded, and a reconciliation is not an acceptance decision.

This stub is removed in 0.7.0. See [migration 0.6](../../docs/migration-0.6.md).
