What accessibility-audit does

The skill evaluates web applications against the WCAG 2.2 standard following WCAG-EM steps. It scopes the review boundary, identifies core routes and templates, and samples representative flows. To keep memory light on large audits, each sampled page runs as an isolated Task subagent. Independent pages can run in parallel before findings are merged into a single report.

Evaluation combines two tiers. The automated pass uses accessibility-scan to catch rule-based issues, while accessibility-inspect handles keyboard navigation, focus order, and reflow. Findings are strictly categorized by evidence: verified automated bugs, items flagged for human verification, and barriers requiring lived experience with assistive tech.

This skill only assesses; it never edits code. If you need automatic code patches, run accessibility-fix instead. Unchecked success criteria or those requiring manual inspection are recorded as undetermined rather than passing, preventing false compliance claims.

What it helps with

  • Run a structured multi-page accessibility audit against WCAG 2.2
  • Sample key application routes, modals, and interactive states
  • Separate verified automated issues from manual human testing handoffs
  • Generate a unified accessibility conformance report across pages

Example prompts for the agent

  • Run an accessibility audit on our frontend routes using WCAG 2.2 AA
  • Audit the checkout flow and user dashboard with accessibility-audit
  • Generate a WCAG conformance report for the main navigation and signup forms
