miro — Claude Code plugin: Miro boards in your agent's context
Connects Claude to Miro boards so the agent reads board context, explains code and builds diagrams where your team already works.
/plugin install miro@claude-plugins-official
/plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-community
/plugin install miro@claude-community
/plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-officialWhat miro does
The plugin wires up the Miro MCP server at https://mcp.miro.com/ and three skills: miro-code-explain-on-board, miro-code-review, miro-code-spec. You don't call them by name. Write a normal request with a board URL and the matching skill loads on its own.
Creating things on a board — diagrams, documents, tables, stickies — goes through the MCP server's own tools instead, with authoring guidance loaded when needed.
You need Miro MCP configured with OAuth before any of this works. Skip that step and the agent has no way in. The plugin ships under MIT.
What it helps with
- walk through an unfamiliar codebase and lay the explanation out on a Miro board
- review a pull request and post the findings to a board
- pull specs out of material already on a board
- draw a diagram or table on a board from a text description
- drop stickies and documents onto a board from a chat request
Example prompts for the agent
- Explain this codebase on
https://miro.com/app/board/... - Review PR 123 on
https://miro.com/app/board/... - Extract specs from
https://miro.com/app/board/...

# Miro Plugin Secure access to Miro boards. Enables AI to read board context, create diagrams, and generate code with enterprise-grade security. ## Components | Type | Details | |--------|---------| | Skills | `miro-code-explain-on-board`, `miro-code-review`, `miro-code-spec` | | MCP | Miro MCP server (`https://mcp.miro.com/`) | ## Installation 1. Ensure Miro MCP is configured (OAuth). 2. Enable this plugin in your AI tool settings. ## Usage Ask Claude in natural language with a Miro board URL — the relevant skill loads automatically. For example: - *"Explain this codebase on `https://miro.com/app/board/...`"* → `miro-code-explain-on-board` - *"Review PR 123 on `https://miro.com/app/board/...`"* → `miro-code-review` - *"Extract specs from `https://miro.com/app/board/...`"* → `miro-code-spec` Creating content on a board — diagrams, documents, tables, stickies, standalone formats — needs no skill. Ask for it directly and the Miro MCP server's own tools handle it, including the authoring guidance they load on demand. ## License MIT
