evanflow — Claude Code plugin: a TDD loop for shipping code
Moves an idea from rough sketch to working code across checkpoints, stopping before any git step so you decide what lands.

/plugin install evanflow@claude-communityWhat evanflow does
The bundle holds 16 skills and 2 subagents of its own. You start with intent and a couple of candidate approaches, then a plan broken into bite-sized tasks, then the work itself. Every task that produces production code runs under evanflow-tdd: write one failing test, make it pass with the least code, refactor while that test is fresh. Behaviour gets checked through the public interface, so refactors don't break the suite.
After implementation, evanflow-iterate reads the diff again, runs quality checks and grabs screenshots of UI changes with headless Chromium. Five rounds is the ceiling. A plan with 3 or more separate units can fork into a parallel setup: each unit gets a coder and a reviewer that only reads, and integration is watched as well.
You get asked at three points: design sign-off, plan sign-off, and once the loop finishes. Commits and staging are yours to make. The git guard hook comes alive with the plugin, no settings.json edit. Skills sit in the evanflow: namespace and evanflow-go is the front door. The marketplace route is the one the author suggests; copying files by hand is the detour.
What it helps with
- turn a half-formed idea into code in reviewable steps
- keep TDD inside each coding task instead of tacking it on at the end
- catch a test assertion that would pass despite a one-character bug
- split independent parts of a plan across parallel coders
- hold the agent at the edge of a commit until you say go
Example prompts for the agent
- Let's evanflow this — I want to add a small feature that does X
- Split the plan into independent units and run

Questions about evanflow
How do I install evanflow in Claude Code?
Use the plugin marketplace: /plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-community, then /plugin install evanflow@claude-community. Restart Claude afterwards and the git guard hook turns on by itself.
What does evanflow do?
It walks a feature through brainstorm, plan, execution under TDD and a review round, pausing for your approval at each gate. You can call single skills or let evanflow-go drive the whole sequence.
Will it commit my changes on its own?
No. The loop halts before any git command and hands control back to you.
