What airwallex-dev does

This plugin teaches the agent to build Airwallex integrations inside your codebase. Five skills generate the code themselves: Hosted Payment Page, Drop-in Element, Split Card Element, Billing Hosted Checkout and KYC onboarding for connected accounts. Each skill picks a scenario first, loads only the reference files that scenario needs, then writes routes, components and config into the project.

The sixth skill, airwallex-ai-provider-card-mit, works differently. It returns an implementation plan document for card-on-file MIT flows used by AI providers, such as top-ups, auto-recharge and subscriptions, and ships no code examples of its own. Most skills accept a scenario argument so the agent loads only what the task needs; airwallex-billing-checkout has none and runs an interactive questionnaire instead to decide which sections to output.

Every skill folder holds a SKILL.md with scenario routing and generation rules, plus a references/ directory of SDK snippets, API schemas and styling options. Testing what gets generated takes Airwallex sandbox credentials. The Airwallex Developer MCP connector is required by airwallex-ai-provider-card-mit, which checks every API field and SDK shape against MCP before writing them; the other skills only fall back to it when a question goes past their references.

What it helps with

  • add a redirect-based checkout with Hosted Payment Page
  • embed a Drop-in Element with several payment methods
  • split card number, expiry and CVC into separate inputs
  • set up subscriptions and card-saving via Billing Hosted Checkout
  • run KYC onboarding for a connected account

Example prompts for the agent

  • Generate a Hosted Payment Page checkout for my store
  • Add a Drop-in Element with card and wallet payments to this project
  • Write an implementation plan for auto-recharge top-ups for an AI provider

Questions about airwallex-dev

How do I install airwallex-dev in Claude Code?

Add the marketplace first: /plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-official. Then install the plugin: /plugin install airwallex-dev@claude-plugins-official.

What does airwallex-dev do?

It generates Airwallex integration code in your project: checkout, card elements, connected-account onboarding and subscription billing. One skill instead produces a plan for card-on-file MIT flows.

What do I need before using it?

Airwallex sandbox credentials to test the generated code. The Airwallex Developer MCP connector is required for airwallex-ai-provider-card-mit; the other skills reach for it only when their references fall short.

# airwallex-dev plugin (Claude Code / Cursor / Codex)

Teaches Claude, Cursor, and Codex how to build Airwallex integrations in your codebase: checkout pages, card elements, onboarding flows, and subscription billing.

Where `airwallex-agentos` provides workflow and reference skills for conversations, `airwallex-dev` skills work on the code in your project. Five of them generate that code directly. Each one picks a scenario, reads only the reference files that scenario needs, and writes the routes, components, and config into the project. `airwallex-ai-provider-card-mit` is the exception. It produces an implementation plan document instead and keeps no code examples of its own.

## Skills

| Skill | Category | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [airwallex-hpp](skills/airwallex-hpp/SKILL.md) | Payments | Hosted Payment Page: redirect-based checkout hosted by Airwallex |
| [airwallex-dropin](skills/airwallex-dropin/SKILL.md) | Payments | Drop-in Element: embedded UI supporting multiple payment methods |
| [airwallex-split-card](skills/airwallex-split-card/SKILL.md) | Payments | Split Card Element: separate card number, expiry, and CVC inputs for full UI control |
| [airwallex-billing-checkout](skills/airwallex-billing-checkout/SKILL.md) | Billing | Billing Hosted Checkout for subscriptions, one-off payments, and card-saving (SETUP) |
| [airwallex-kyc](skills/airwallex-kyc/SKILL.md) | Connected Accounts | Connected account KYC onboarding via embedded component or hosted link |
| [airwallex-ai-provider-card-mit](skills/airwallex-ai-provider-card-mit/SKILL.md) | Payments | Implementation plan for card-on-file MIT flows used by AI providers (top-ups, auto-recharge, subscriptions) |

Most skills take a `scenario` argument (see each `SKILL.md` `argument-hint`) so the agent loads only what the task needs. `airwallex-billing-checkout` is the exception: it has no `argument-hint` and instead walks through an interactive intake questionnaire to decide which sections to output.

### Skill file structure

Each skill has a `SKILL.md` holding the routing logic and generation rules, plus a `references/` folder with SDK snippets, API schemas, and styling options that the agent loads only when it needs them:

```
skills/<skill-name>/
├── SKILL.md                       # Scenario routing, generation rules, reference index
└── references/
    └── ...                        # SDK snippets, API schemas, styling, error handling
```

## Prerequisites

- **Sandbox account:** Airwallex sandbox credentials for testing generated integrations.
- **Airwallex Developer MCP connector:** lets the agent search current API docs and call sandbox APIs. Optional for most skills, which fall back to it only when a question goes beyond their references, but **required** by `airwallex-ai-provider-card-mit`, which verifies every API field and SDK shape against MCP before writing them. Setup: [Connectors](https://www.airwallex.com/docs/developer-tools/ai/developer-connector).
