What visual-analysis-ocr does

This subagent reads PNG images and extracts their text in reading order. It can identify headings, lists, captions, footnotes, symbols, mathematical notation, columns, indentation, emphasis, quotes, code blocks, tables, and diagram labels.

The output uses markdown headings, list markers, emphasis, code formatting, and preserved paragraph breaks. Ambiguous passages, difficult layouts, and non-text elements are flagged or described. Its configured tools are Read and Write, so the workflow centers on reading the image and writing the analysis.

Install it in Claude Code with npx claude-code-templates@latest --agent ocr-extraction-team/visual-analysis-ocr, then use .claude/agents/visual-analysis-ocr.md.
