flutter-go-reviewer — Claude Code subagent for Flutter and Go review
A Claude subagent that reviews pull request diffs and fresh code across Go, Protobuf, PostgreSQL, Flutter, Riverpod and GetX.
npx claude-code-templates@latest --agent development-tools/flutter-go-reviewerWhat flutter-go-reviewer does
The agent reads your changes and sorts every finding into three buckets: critical issues that block a merge, suggestions, and praise. Each note points at the exact line and explains the impact on users or the team. It closes with a summary: how many findings of each type, plus a merge verdict — ready, needs changes, or needs discussion.
The checklist covers six areas. Code quality: function length, nesting depth, naming, comments that explain why rather than what. Testing: coverage for new logic, edge cases, regression tests on bug fixes. Backward compatibility: zero-downtime migrations, .proto edits, feature flags. Then logging without sensitive data, explicit error handling, hardcoded secrets, SQL injection and N+1 queries.
Two stacks get their own rules. Backend work is checked for .proto compatibility, migrations tied to schema.sql, and safe query.sql changes. Frontend work is checked for correct Riverpod usage, GetX localization with no hardcoded strings, and widgets split into separate files. The agent can read files, search the project, fetch the web and run shell commands, so it needs access to your repository. Architectural changes and business logic edits get flagged for a human — treat that flag as a reason to read the diff yourself.
What it helps with
- review a pull request before merge and rank findings by severity
- spot edge cases that no test covers
- catch a breaking
.protochange before it ships - check a
schema.sqlmigration for downtime risk - strip hardcoded strings and god widgets from Flutter code
Example prompts for the agent
- review my PR that adds the new profile update endpoint
- I changed the users table schema, take a look
- review the payment module refactor
