What internal-comms does

internal-comms identifies the kind of internal message you request and applies the matching guidance. It covers 3P updates, company newsletters, FAQ answers, status reports, leadership updates, project updates, and incident reports.

The skill includes instruction files and examples in the examples/ directory. Separate guides cover 3P updates, company newsletters, FAQ answers, and general communications. Claude chooses the relevant file, then follows its rules for structure, tone, and gathering the needed content.

It works with Claude Code and Claude.ai. Install it when your team follows recurring formats for internal messages; for a one-off note with no house style, the skill adds little.

What it helps with

  • draft a 3P update for the team
  • prepare a company-wide newsletter
  • turn recurring questions into an FAQ
  • write an incident report
  • create a project update for leadership

## How to use this skill

To write any internal communication:

1. **Identify the communication type** from the request

    - `examples/company-newsletter.md` - For company-wide newsletters
    - `examples/faq-answers.md` - For answering frequently asked questions
    - `examples/general-comms.md` - For anything else that doesn't explicitly match one of the above
