Плагин даёт агенту доступ к DOCX через MCP-сервер. Внутри — двустороннее преобразование HTML и DOCX: модель пишет HTML, а сервер собирает из него документ. Второй приём — точечное редактирование: можно указать конкретный абзац, таблицу или строку, а не переписывать весь файл. Из-за этого токенов уходит меньше, чем при правке document.xml вручную.
Что умеет: прочитать текст и комментарии, создать новый файл (можно взять существующий DOCX как шаблон и унаследовать его стили), внести отслеживаемые правки, добавить комментарии и ответить на них. Всё работает офлайн, файлы никуда не отправляются.
Для Claude установка идёт через маркетплейс плагинов. После установки в CLAUDE.md стоит дописать строку о том, что для чтения и правки DOCX нужно использовать legalrabbit-docx-mcp — без этой пометки агент может взяться за файл другими средствами.
