Плагин подключает Claude Code к MongoDB через строку подключения. Локальный MCP-сервер запускается через npx и даёт агенту инструменты для просмотра баз и коллекций, выполнения запросов и агрегаций, а также управления индексами. Поддерживаются Community, Enterprise Advanced, локальный контейнер разработки и Atlas cluster.
В комплект входят скиллы для настройки MCP и клиентских подключений, генерации запросов find и aggregation pipelines по описанию на естественном языке, диагностики медленных запросов и подбора индексов. Отдельные скиллы помогают проектировать схему, оценивать влияние Queryable Encryption, собирать Atlas Search и Vector Search, а также управлять Atlas Stream Processing.
Для подключения нужна строка подключения MongoDB и переменные окружения. Скилл оценки размера для Queryable Encryption не применяется к коллекциям с Client-Side Field Level Encryption.
