## What it does

This skill equips your agent with the `yf` CLI script for Yahoo Finance market data. The agent can pull stock quotes, price history, income statements, balance sheets, and company news headlines. It also queries macro metrics like VIX, DXY, US treasury yields, commodity prices, and LatAm FX rates across ARS, BRL, CLP, MXN, or COP.

The script executes with `uv run --script` using inline PEP 723 metadata. Dependencies install automatically on the first run. Output renders as Rich terminal tables or structured JSON when passing the `--json` flag.

Your environment must have Python 3.10+ and `uv` installed. The script file at `{baseDir}/scripts/yf` also requires executable permissions to run.

# Yahoo Finance CLI

Financial data terminal powered by Yahoo Finance. All commands via the `yf` script.

## Setup

The script is at `{baseDir}/scripts/yf`. It uses `uv run --script` with inline PEP 723 metadata — dependencies install automatically on first run.
