## What it does

This skill structures operations on `.xlsx`, `.xlsm`, `.csv`, and `.tsv` files. It directs Claude Code to inspect tabular data with `pandas` and handle cell styling, structure, and formula injection through `openpyxl`. Spreadsheets must remain dynamic: calculations rely on native Excel functions like `=AVERAGE()` instead of static numbers evaluated in Python.

Detailed formatting rules govern financial modeling tasks. Standard conventions assign blue font to user inputs, black to calculation cells, and red to external workbook references. Assumptions belong in dedicated cells. Without LibreOffice installed on the machine, formula recalculation through `scripts/recalc.py` cannot run to catch errors like `#REF!` or `#NAME?`.

The workflow applies exclusively when the final deliverable is an actual spreadsheet file. It steps aside if the requested output is a database pipeline, a Word file, or an HTML report.
