## What it does

This skill prepares plugins for publication in the WordPress.org directory. It reviews code against the 18 official guidelines. The agent verifies required `License:` and `License URI:` file headers, spots dependencies that clash with GPL terms, and catches prohibited trialware logic. It also flags issues with plugin slugs or trademarks.

The skill interprets test output from the Plugin Check tool. Automated validation expects WP-CLI, WordPress 7.0+, and PHP 7.4.0+ in a local setup. Without this local environment, automated test runs will fail. The agent falls back to manual static review when local tools are missing.
