## What it does

This skill reads the on-chain behavior of large token holders on Solana. It flags a wallet quietly building a position through small buys, and catches the moment an insider or early investor starts unloading. On thin DEX liquidity a single sale of 5% of supply can drop the price 30-50%, so early warning matters.

Inside are heuristics for scoring accumulation and distribution. The skill computes `accumulation_score` and `distribution_score` from buy and sell counts, average trade size, 7-day position change, buys during dips and transfers to exchange addresses. A score of 4 or higher means likely accumulating or distributing. A watchlist holds wallet entries with tags such as `sniper`, `accumulator`, `insider` and `market_maker`.

What counts as a whale depends on context: 50 SOL in a $200K market cap token is whale-level, the same 50 SOL in a $50M token is retail. The skill advises keeping both absolute and relative thresholds in view. To find wallets it leans on `getTokenLargestAccounts`, trades above 100 SOL and profitable trader rankings from SolanaTracker and Birdeye.

## Why Whale Tracking Matters

A single large wallet selling 5% of a token's supply can crash the price 30-50% on thin Solana DEX liquidity. Conversely, a known profitable wallet accumulating a new token often precedes major price runs. Whale tracking converts on-chain transparency into actionable intelligence.

Key use cases:

- **Smart money following**: Identify wallets with strong track records and monitor their new positions

## What Constitutes a Whale

Whale classification depends on context. A wallet holding $50K of a $1M market cap token is a whale; the same $50K in SOL is not. Use relative and absolute thresholds:
