## What it does

The skill wires three model families into your agent. HappyHorse is the default and covers text-to-video, first-frame animation, reference-image generation and editing an existing video. SeeDance adds frame mode with a first and last frame, and accepts images, video and audio as input. PixVerse lives under its own `listenhub openapi video pixverse` namespace and exposes nine operations: transitions, fusion, restyle, mimic, lip sync and a marketing agent for ad and promo cuts.

Lip sync is PixVerse-only. HappyHorse and SeeDance do not support it. PixVerse runs through OpenAPI alone and takes public URLs or task and video IDs rather than local paths, so you need an `lh_sk_...` key set with `listenhub openapi config set-key` or the `LISTENHUB_API_KEY` variable. With only internal auth configured, the skill will ask you to add an OpenAPI key first.

Before anything runs, the skill checks CLI auth and whether the `video` subcommand exists, installing `@marswave/listenhub-cli@latest` if it is missing. Generation takes minutes, so tasks are created with `--no-wait --json` and the result is saved separately in `download` mode as `{slug}.mp4`. Parameters are collected one question at a time through AskUserQuestion, and no generation command fires until you confirm the summary.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add marswaveai/skills --skill video-gen -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/video-gen/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/video-gen/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add marswaveai/skills --skill video-gen -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/video-gen/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add marswaveai/skills --skill video-gen -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/video-gen/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install marswaveai/skills video-gen
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/video-gen/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add marswaveai/skills --skill video-gen -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/marswaveai/skills --path video-gen
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/video-gen/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add marswaveai/skills --skill video-gen -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/marswaveai/skills/tree/HEAD/video-gen/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- generate a clip from a written description
- animate a still image as the first frame
- build a video from several reference images
- lip-sync a video to audio or TTS
- restyle or swap the background of an existing clip

## Example prompts
- generate a video: a cat riding a skateboard along the waterfront, 9:16
- animate this frame and add camera movement
- lip-sync this video to the voiceover

## When to Use

- User wants to generate an AI video from a text description
- User wants to animate a still image (first-frame)
- User has reference images to guide video generation
- User wants to edit an existing video (change style, background, etc.)
- User wants to lip-sync a video to audio or TTS (PixVerse only) — "对口型", "口型同步"
- User wants a marketing ad / promo mix video (PixVerse agent)
- User says "生成视频", "做视频", "video generation", "text to video", "视频编辑", "pixverse", "口型"

## When NOT to Use

- User wants an explainer video with narration and AI visuals (use `/explainer`)
- User wants to transcribe audio/video to text (use `/asr`)
- User wants to generate an image (use `/image-gen`)

## Purpose

Generate AI videos using the ListenHub CLI. Supports three model families:

- **HappyHorse** (default) — text-to-video, image-to-video, reference-image-to-video, video-edit
- **SeeDance** — text-to-video, frame mode (first + last frame), reference mode (images, videos, audio)
- **PixVerse** — nine atomic capabilities via the Agent API (text_to_video, image_to_video, transition, multi_transition, fusion, restyle, mimic, **lip_sync**, agent). The only family that supports lip sync. OpenAPI-only, URL/ID based, and uses its own `pixverse` CLI namespace.

## Hard Constraints

- Always check CLI auth following `shared/cli-authentication.md`
- Follow `shared/cli-patterns.md` for CLI execution, errors, and interaction patterns
- Always read config following `shared/config-pattern.md` before any interaction
- Follow `shared/output-mode.md` for result presentation — `download` mode saves `{slug}.mp4` to cwd with dedupe per `shared/config-pattern.md` § Artifact Naming
- Always use `--no-wait --json` for video creation — generation takes minutes
- Never use `eval` to execute CLI commands — always invoke `listenhub video ...` directly with proper quoting

<HARD-GATE>
Use the AskUserQuestion tool for every multiple-choice step — do NOT print options
as plain text. Ask one question at a time. Wait for the user's answer before
proceeding to the next step. After all parameters are collected, summarize the
