# vibe-creating-prompt

Turns an idea, a scene or a rough draft into a prompt a text-to-video model can work with. First it checks whether the task fits the Vibe Creating style at all.

## What it does

This skill acts as an editor for video-generation prompts. It reads the input along three axes: whether the creative goal suits Vibe Creating, what form the text is already in (a vivid scene, creative writing mixed with execution language, or a shot list full of parameters), and whether anything essential is missing. Then it picks the lightest action that fits: pass the text through, clean it up, rewrite it, ask a clarifying question first, or offer a Vibe Creating version as an extra.

Four layers get priority: the visual anchor, the action or state, the local mood, and the clip's theme plus visual style. Whatever is absent is what the skill asks about, usually in one round. Dialogue, voiceover, music and sound effects you specified yourself stay untouched — your hard constraints win.

The flip side: long narrative films that need word-for-word dialogue sync, industrial shot lists meant to be executed verbatim, and UI demos with step-by-step instructions are outside its lane. A prompt that is already polished gets passed through rather than rewritten for the sake of it.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Alisa0808/vibe-creating-skill --skill vibe-creating-prompt -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/vibe-creating-prompt/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/vibe-creating-prompt/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Alisa0808/vibe-creating-skill --skill vibe-creating-prompt -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/vibe-creating-prompt/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Alisa0808/vibe-creating-skill --skill vibe-creating-prompt -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/vibe-creating-prompt/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install Alisa0808/vibe-creating-skill vibe-creating-prompt
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/vibe-creating-prompt/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Alisa0808/vibe-creating-skill --skill vibe-creating-prompt -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/Alisa0808/vibe-creating-skill --path skills/vibe-creating-prompt
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/vibe-creating-prompt/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Alisa0808/vibe-creating-skill --skill vibe-creating-prompt -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- turn a fragment of an idea into a prompt that yields a coherent scene
- strip technical parameters that get in the way of generation
- keep specified dialogue and music intact while rewriting
- convert an abstract feeling into visible frame content
- decide whether Vibe Creating even fits the task

## Example prompts
- Rewrite this prompt in Vibe Creating style: a hero walking through a rainy city at night
- Drop the focal lengths and timecodes, keep only the visual description of the scene
- Write a Kling prompt: a girl opens a window, warm light, slight handheld sway

description: Judges whether a user's input suits the Vibe Creating style of video-prompt writing, and when it does, distills single-scene prompts, multi-shot descriptions, emotional imagery, or mixed input into prompts that are easier for a video model to generate from — while preserving any user-specified dialogue, voiceover, music, sound effects, and other hard constraints. Use when a user wants to turn an idea, story, feeling, or rough/over-specified prompt into a strong text-to-video prompt (Seedance, Sora, Kling, Veo, Runway, etc.), or asks to "rewrite", "improve", "clean up", or "vibe-ify" a video prompt. Do NOT use for long narrative films that need precise word-for-word dialogue sync, industrial shot lists meant to be executed verbatim, or functional/UI demos and step-by-step tutorials.

# Vibe Creating Prompt Skill

## Overview

Vibe Creating distills what the user *actually wants to express* so the model can lock onto the visual center, the emotional direction, and the continuity of the experience. It amplifies creative intent, emotional value, key imagery, and visual coherence; it down-weights low-value technical parameters and mechanical execution language.

This skill is a *judgment-first* rewriter. It does not blindly shorten or "vibe-ify" everything. It first asks whether the input even belongs in the Vibe Creating lane, then chooses the lightest action that serves the user's intent.

## Quick Start

When you receive an input, run three steps:

1. **Judge whether it suits Vibe Creating (VC).** Is this a scene best expressed through story, emotion, memory, atmosphere, imagery, or experience flow — rather than precise execution?
2. **Decide the most appropriate handling right now.** Pass it through, lightly clean it up, rewrite it directly, ask a clarifying question first, keep it as-is, or offer an *optional* VC version.
3. **Only ask for what's missing.** Request the minimum information needed to complete the chosen action. Never interrogate the user just to satisfy your own classification.

Do not expose internal labels (`S1`, `E2`, "Mode 5", etc.) to the user. Judge internally; communicate plainly.
