## What it does

This skill provides workflows for interacting with Circle's USDC stablecoin on both EVM chains and Solana. It handles checking balances, inspecting allowances, executing transfers, and verifying transaction receipts. For EVM chains, it relies on `viem`, while Solana workflows use `@solana/kit`, `@solana-program/token`, `bs58`, `dotenv`, and `ws`.

Operations are split into read and write actions. Read queries such as balance checks execute autonomously without confirmations. Write operations modify state, so the skill requires explicit confirmation before sending transactions. On Solana, transfers fail if the recipient lacks an Associated Token Account, so the skill ensures the account is created first.

Security rules strictly forbid bridged variants like USDbC or USDC.e in favor of native Circle contracts. USDC uses 6 decimals across all supported ecosystems, making 18-decimal calculations an error. Read calls require no private keys, but write operations expect secrets managed through environment variables.

## Overview

USDC is Circle's stablecoin deployed across multiple blockchain ecosystems. This skill helps you interact with USDC on both EVM chains (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, etc.) and Solana. It covers balance checks, transfers, approvals, and transfer verification.

## Prerequisites / Setup

### Determine Ecosystem

First, identify which ecosystem the user is working with:

- **EVM**: User has an Ethereum-style address (`0x...`) or mentions Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, etc.
- **Solana**: User has a base58 address or mentions Solana, Devnet, Phantom, Solflare, etc.
- **Unclear**: Ask which ecosystem before proceeding.

### Dependencies

**EVM:**

### Environment Variables
