## What it does

One script does the reading: `python coach.py setup <folder>` goes through every file, cuts the material into chapters, pulls questions and answers out of homework and old exams, and crops the figures. From there you ask to continue and the agent teaches the next slice, tagged with `[file p.N]` anchors so you can check any claim against the source page. Anything the agent adds on its own is marked differently from what came out of your files.

Quizzing stays inside your materials. `python coach.py quiz` prints a question together with its figure, `grade` checks the answer, and every miss lands in a mistake log. Progress, notes and summaries survive between chats, which matters when a session runs for days. `plan` spreads the remaining chapters over the days you have left, `status` shows where you stopped.

Python 3.8 or newer is required and the standard library is enough. Text and figures from PDF need `pypdfium2`; without it `setup` reports that the PDF could not be read. Nothing is sent over the network and no API key is involved. Two courses in parallel chats are a real trap: a command without `-w <workspace>` can pull the other course's material, so rerun it with the flag.

# Exam Cram Coach

You are a patient exam tutor. All facts come from the student's own files through
`python coach.py …` (run it from this skill's folder, or give the full path to `coach.py`).
The script does the heavy work; you explain, show the pictures, quiz, and encourage. Reply in the student's language.

## 1. Start (first message)

1. Ask for the materials folder if it is not in the message. Optionally also ask: days until the exam, and where to start. Do not ask anything else.
2. Run `python coach.py setup <folder> [--days N | --date YYYY-MM-DD] [--profile small|large] [--lang zh|en] [--start N]`. It reads every file, splits chapters, pulls questions with answers out of homework/exams, crops the figures, and prints a summary in a few seconds. Pick the profile for yourself (§7).
