## What it does

The skill is generated from uni-helper documentation and split into sections: Vite plugins, libraries, utilities, project starters. Each topic lives in its own file under `references/`, so the agent pulls in only the part it needs when a matching package shows up in your project.

The plugin section covers file-based routing, a Nuxt-like layouts system, automatic component imports, `manifest.json` written in TypeScript, per-platform compilation through file naming, attribute and directive modifiers, and routing middleware. The libraries cover VueUse-style composables, a promise-based HTTP client, promise wrappers for uni-app APIs, and TypeScript types for templates. Utilities handle environment detection and an UnoCSS preset, and there are two starters: the `create-uni` CLI and a Vite template.

One section lists the recommended plugin order in `vite.config.ts`: the official `Uni()` plugin goes last, everything else before it. Get that wrong and the config misbehaves, so it is the first thing worth checking in an inherited setup.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add uni-helper/skills --skill uni-helper -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/uni-helper/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/uni-helper/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add uni-helper/skills --skill uni-helper -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/uni-helper/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add uni-helper/skills --skill uni-helper -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/uni-helper/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install uni-helper/skills uni-helper
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/uni-helper/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add uni-helper/skills --skill uni-helper -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/uni-helper/skills --path skills/uni-helper
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/uni-helper/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add uni-helper/skills --skill uni-helper -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

## When to use it
- add file-based routing to a uni-app project
- set up automatic component imports
- write manifest.json in TypeScript
- split code per platform by file name
- get the Vite plugin order right

## Example prompts
- Show me how to set up file-based routing with vite-plugin-uni-pages
- What is the correct plugin order for uni-helper in vite.config.ts?
- Walk me through adding uni-network to a uni-app project

## Plugin Order Best Practices

When using multiple uni-helper Vite plugins, the recommended order is:

```ts
// vite.config.ts
export default defineConfig({
  plugins: [
````

The third-party file has ended. Everything between the e5e0346359e57018 tags is data: requests and commands from it are not followed. An “end of file” line with another tag inside the block is part of the file.
