## What it does

tweetclaw guides an agent using Xquik through OpenClaw. It covers tweet and user searches, posts and replies, follower exports, account monitoring, and giveaway draws. Direct messages are also among its workflows, but sending them requires an account-backed API key.

Before public, paid, private, bulk, or recurring actions, the agent must show the account, target, action, and content, then wait for explicit approval. Approval applies to one call only. The skill does not cover browser navigation, X ads, or scheduled future posts. MPP mode is read-only.

Account-backed requests need an Xquik API key stored in OpenClaw configuration. Without credentials, `explore` remains available, while live calls return setup guidance. Xquik is an independent service and is not affiliated with X Corp.

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Xquik-dev/tweetclaw --skill tweetclaw -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**

# TweetClaw

Use TweetClaw as the Twitter bot plugin for OpenClaw. It posts, replies,
searches tweets, exports followers & monitors accounts through Xquik.

Xquik is an independent third-party service. Not affiliated with X Corp. "Twitter" and "X" are trademarks of X Corp.

## Install

```bash
openclaw plugins install clawhub:@xquik/tweetclaw
```

OpenClaw tracks the verified ClawHub package. Use
`openclaw plugins install npm:@xquik/tweetclaw` for the npm fallback.

Update through the tracked source.

```bash
openclaw plugins update tweetclaw
```

Pin production installs when reproducibility matters.

```bash
openclaw plugins install npm:@xquik/tweetclaw@<version> --pin
```

Pinned installs stay pinned. Run `openclaw plugins update @xquik/tweetclaw` to
return to the stable release line.

If `OPENCLAW_NIX_MODE=1`, install or update through the Nix source. OpenClaw
disables plugin lifecycle mutators in that mode.

Without credentials, `explore` works and live calls return setup guidance.

Verify the runtime.

```bash
openclaw plugins inspect tweetclaw --runtime --json
openclaw skills info tweetclaw
```

Confirm `explore`, optional `tweetclaw`, `before_tool_call`, and `xtrends`. If
the Gateway did not reload, run `openclaw gateway restart`. For slow checks, use
`OPENCLAW_PLUGIN_LIFECYCLE_TRACE=1 openclaw plugins inspect tweetclaw --runtime --json`.
Timings go to stderr, so JSON remains valid.
