## What it does

This skill formats structured trading plans for day trading and swing trading. The structure divides your plan into nine sections. It covers market selection, technical setups like pullbacks or breakouts, execution rules, and trade journal tracking.

Risk management serves as the core. The skill recommends limiting risk to 1-2% of total capital per trade. For exits, you can set percentage stops or volatility stops using 1.5-2x ATR. Trades require at least a 2:1 reward-to-risk ratio.

Without hard drawdown limits, losses compound rapidly. The framework advises halting all trading if equity drops 10%, 15%, or 20% from peak levels. Hitting that cutoff means stopping immediately to review past trades and switch to paper trading.
