# tool-design-sprint-test-and-score

Closes out Design Sprint Friday: five customer interviews, a scorecard against the sprint questions, and the Decider's build, iterate, pivot or stop call.

## What it does

The skill bundles Friday's output into one artifact with six sections: per-customer observation notes, best quotes, the scorecard grid, observed patterns, hot takes from each team member, and the Decider summary. The scorecard runs sprint questions down the rows and customers across the columns; every cell gets Y, N, partial or unclear plus a one-line note, and the rightmost column records the day-end verdict — Validated, Invalidated or Inconclusive.

Friday is scheduled tightly. Interviews start at 09:00 and run 50–60 minutes each, with a short team huddle after every slot to capture observations before the next customer. Synthesis — scorecard, patterns, hot takes, Decider summary — fits a 270-minute timebox. Hot takes are written silently in parallel so the group discussion does not colour individual reads.

You need Thursday's prototype to have passed its trial run, the interview script from `tool-design-sprint-prototype-plan`, and the sprint questions from Monday. If the Decider cannot make the post-interview review, the day yields observations with no call attached — that is a reason to reschedule the review rather than guess at a verdict. Fewer than 3 confirmed customers stops the run too: the canonical cohort is 5, and 3–4 or 6–7 triggers a documented warning.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add product-on-purpose/pm-skills --skill tool-design-sprint-test-and-score -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/tool-design-sprint-test-and-score/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/tool-design-sprint-test-and-score/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add product-on-purpose/pm-skills --skill tool-design-sprint-test-and-score -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/tool-design-sprint-test-and-score/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add product-on-purpose/pm-skills --skill tool-design-sprint-test-and-score -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/tool-design-sprint-test-and-score/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install product-on-purpose/pm-skills tool-design-sprint-test-and-score
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/tool-design-sprint-test-and-score/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add product-on-purpose/pm-skills --skill tool-design-sprint-test-and-score -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/product-on-purpose/pm-skills --path skills/tool-design-sprint-test-and-score
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/tool-design-sprint-test-and-score/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add product-on-purpose/pm-skills --skill tool-design-sprint-test-and-score -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- pull five interview sessions into a single artifact
- check each sprint question against every customer in the scorecard
- capture customer quotes while the interviews are fresh
- collect independent team reads before group synthesis
- get a build, iterate, pivot or stop call from the Decider the same day

## Example prompts
- Assemble the Friday artifact for our Design Sprint: per-customer observations, scorecard, patterns and the Decider summary
- Map the five customer interviews onto the sprint questions and mark what held up
- Take hot takes from each team member, then capture the Decider's call on the prototype
