# vercel-cli

## What it does

The skill directs the agent to the `vercel` CLI for operational checks. It can fetch local environment variables with `vercel env pull`, inspect a deployment using `vercel inspect <url>`, read runtime output through `vercel logs <url>`, and list deployments with `vercel ls`. The CLI help command is `vercel --help`.

Use it for Vercel state, environment variables, or logs rather than application coding. A manual production `vercel deploy` should be used only when the repository workflow explicitly calls for that step.

## Example prompts
- Use `vercel env pull` to bring the project’s environment variables into local development.
- Inspect the deployment at `<url>` and report its current state.
- Read the runtime logs, then list the latest Vercel deployments.
