## What it does

The skill wraps `@tanstack/cli`, an interactive scaffolder for TanStack Start. It ships more than 30 integrations: `tanstack-query`, `tanstack-form`, `tanstack-table`, `clerk`, `better-auth`, `drizzle`, `prisma`, `neon`, `convex`, `vercel`, `cloudflare`, `trpc`, `sentry`, `shadcn-ui`, `storybook` and more. The agent can assemble a stack with the `--integrations` flag or run you through the prompts step by step.

There is also an MCP server. Wire it up with `npx @tanstack/cli mcp` in a config such as `.claude/mcp.json`, and the agent gets documentation search, integration discovery and deployment guidance. A web builder is included too: pick a stack visually and preview the generated files before exporting.

Two things to plan for. After generation you install dependencies and fill in environment variables yourself — check `.env.example`. With `drizzle` or `prisma` the database still needs initializing. Integration combinations can also clash, so verify your picks before generating. For reproducible builds in CI, the author suggests passing integrations as a flag rather than answering prompts.
