## What it does

The skill takes two Markdown audit reports and lines up their findings. A match is decided by the finding ID such as `P0-001`, by component plus title, or by location — file, line, endpoint. Each finding then gets a status: gone from the newer report means fixed, present in both means still open, present only in the newer one means new.

You get a table split by P0, P1 and P2, a score and grade comparison, the fixed list with dates, what is still open, and a section for regressions. It also reports the share of findings closed and the average time to fix per severity. With three or more reports, a trend table across dates is added.

Both reports have to cover the same project and be in Markdown. They also need to come from the same skill set — otherwise the finding IDs and structure will not line up, and matching falls back to descriptions, which produces more false pairs.

## Requirements
- Works with: Supabase

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yoanbernabeu/supabase-pentest-skills --skill supabase-report-compare -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/supabase-report-compare/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/supabase-report-compare/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yoanbernabeu/supabase-pentest-skills --skill supabase-report-compare -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/supabase-report-compare/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yoanbernabeu/supabase-pentest-skills --skill supabase-report-compare -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/supabase-report-compare/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install yoanbernabeu/supabase-pentest-skills supabase-report-compare
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/supabase-report-compare/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yoanbernabeu/supabase-pentest-skills --skill supabase-report-compare -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/yoanbernabeu/supabase-pentest-skills --path skills/report/supabase-report-compare
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/supabase-report-compare/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yoanbernabeu/supabase-pentest-skills --skill supabase-report-compare -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

## When to use it
- confirm which security issues were actually closed
- catch regressions in the latest audit
- show how the score moved between two audits
- count open findings per priority level
- prepare a summary for a recurring security review

## Example prompts
- Compare security reports `old-report.md` and `new-report.md`
- Compare `reports/audit-v1.md` with `reports/audit-v2.md`
- What got fixed between these two audits, and what is new?

# Report Comparison

This skill compares two security audit reports to track progress over time.

## When to Use This Skill

- After fixing vulnerabilities, to verify remediation
- For periodic security reviews
- To track security posture over time
- To identify regression (new vulnerabilities)

## Prerequisites

- Two audit reports in Markdown format
- Reports should be from the same project

## Usage

### Basic Comparison

```
Compare security reports old-report.md and new-report.md
```

### With Specific Paths

```
Compare reports/audit-v1.md with reports/audit-v2.md
```

## Output Format
