## What it does

The skill lays out a fixed order of work for music generation. First it collects the brief: single track, playlist or album, genre, mood, vocal type, lyric language, target length. Then it builds the style prompt and the lyrics. The style formula is genre, BPM, mood, key instruments, vocal type, production style. On V5 you can also exclude things by naming them in the prompt, such as no guitars or no vocals.

Reference files cover genre prompts, BPM choices, structure meta-tags and project templates, with a separate one on distribution and rights. A quality checklist follows each generation: BPM accuracy, vocal clarity, artifacts, whether the structure is complete. Fixes after generation include Extend, Remaster, Crop, Cover and Replace Section. Suno Studio adds a multi-track timeline, stem separation, Take Lanes and MIDI export.

Studio sits behind the Premier plan, so without it the editing steps are off the table. Distribution exports are WAV 16-bit/44.1kHz with 3000x3000px artwork; stems come with Pro and Premier. The skill warns against naming real artists in prompts because of copyright risk.

## Core Workflow

### 1. Project Setup

Gather requirements:
- **Type**: Single track / Playlist / Album
- **Purpose**: Personal / Client / Commercial distribution
- **Style**: Genre(s), mood, energy level
- **Voice**: Male / Female / Mix / Instrumental
- **Language**: Target language for lyrics
- **Duration**: Track length or playlist total time (up to 8 min per generation)
- **Constraints**: Content restrictions, brand guidelines

### 2. Prompt Construction

**Style prompt formula:**

**Negative prompting (V5):** Add exclusions directly:

**Lyrics structure:** Place meta-tags in lyrics field (more effective than style prompt):
