# sumsub-create-poa-preset

## What it does

This skill turns a compact specification into a Sumsub Proof-of-Address preset and sends it to the API. New presets use `POST /resources/api/agent/poaStepSettings`; existing ones use `PATCH` with the preset `id` in the request body. `GET /resources/api/agent/poaStepSettings/{id}` reads the current state. Helper scripts build the payload and handle create, update, and read operations.

The configuration can cover accepted document providers, validity periods, country scope, and matching between identity and address data. After creation, the returned `id` can be assigned to `requiredIdDocs.docSets[].poaStepSettingsId` on a level containing `PROOF_OF_RESIDENCE`.

Use sandbox credentials in `SUMSUB_APP_TOKEN` and `SUMSUB_SECRET_KEY`; the API also requires `manageClientSettings`. A production App Token is rejected, and the preset has no effect without a `PROOF_OF_RESIDENCE` step.
