## What it does

This skill writes the material a rep actually opens: a 10-12 slide pitch narrative, one-pagers, an objection library, demo scripts, competitive battle cards, proposal outlines and buyer cards. It also builds a deal-level ROI calculator that keeps sourced numbers apart from modeled ones.

Before asking anything, it looks for `.agents/product-marketing.md` (older setups: `.claude/product-marketing.md` or `product-marketing-context.md`) and reads it. Whatever that file does not cover, it asks: what you sell, who buys, how the sales motion runs, which assets you need and what already exists. Output arrives as a draft with a claim-source table, held until the audience and version are approved.

Pricing and terms belong to `suede-pricing`, the offer to `suede-offers`, public comparison pages to `suede-competitors`, outreach to `suede-cold-email`. The ROI calculator needs current-state metrics from the prospect — without them you get an empty form.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add JasonColapietro/suede-creator-skills --skill suede-sales-enablement -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/suede-sales-enablement/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/suede-sales-enablement/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add JasonColapietro/suede-creator-skills --skill suede-sales-enablement -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/suede-sales-enablement/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add JasonColapietro/suede-creator-skills --skill suede-sales-enablement -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/suede-sales-enablement/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install JasonColapietro/suede-creator-skills suede-sales-enablement
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/suede-sales-enablement/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add JasonColapietro/suede-creator-skills --skill suede-sales-enablement -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/JasonColapietro/suede-creator-skills --path skills/suede-sales-enablement
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/suede-sales-enablement/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add JasonColapietro/suede-creator-skills --skill suede-sales-enablement -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

## When to use it
- build a 10-12 slide pitch deck for a specific buyer
- write a one-pager for post-meeting follow-up or champion enablement
- map objections by category and attach proof to each response
- produce a battle card against a named competitor
- model deal ROI without mixing sourced and modeled figures

## Example prompts
- Build a 10-12 slide pitch deck for a technical buyer
- Write an objection library covering price and status quo, with proof points
- Set up a deal ROI calculator — I'll paste the prospect's current-state metrics

# Suede Sales Enablement

Suede AI Sales Enablement turns verified positioning, proof, and deal context into
rep-usable decks, one-pagers, objection guides, demos, and playbooks. Every
asset separates sourced claims from modeled value and remains a draft until its
audience and version are approved.

## Before Starting

**Check for product marketing context first:**
If `.agents/product-marketing.md` exists (or `.claude/product-marketing.md`, or the legacy `product-marketing-context.md` filename, in older setups), read it before asking questions. Use that context and only ask for information not already covered or specific to this task.

Gather this context (ask if not provided):

1. **Value Proposition & Differentiators**
   - What do you sell and who is it for?
   - What makes you different from the next best alternative?
   - What outcomes can you prove?

2. **Sales Motion**
   - How do you sell? (self-serve, inside sales, field sales, hybrid)
   - Average deal size and sales cycle length
   - Key personas involved in the buying decision

3. **Collateral Needs**
   - What specific assets do you need?
   - What stage of the funnel are they for?
   - Who will use them? (AE, SDR, champion, prospect)

4. **Current State**
   - What materials exist today?
   - What's working and what's not?
   - What do reps ask for most?

## Core Principles

### Sales Uses What Sales Trusts
Involve reps in creation. Use their language, not marketing's. If reps rewrite your deck before sending it, you wrote the wrong deck. Test drafts with your top performers first.
