## What it does

\`stripe-apps` guides the Stripe App workflow from project scaffolding through preview, upload, versioning, and marketplace publishing. It covers Dashboard UI extensions in a sandboxed iframe, the `@stripe/ui-extension-sdk` component set, viewport contexts, backend-only apps, embedded apps, and extension interfaces.

The skill also addresses `stripe-app.yaml`, permissions, viewports, CSP, platform keys, OAuth, restricted API keys, app webhooks, Secret Store API, and `fetchStripeSignature` authentication. For UI extensions, it includes `pnpm build` and `pnpm test`; the project scaffold comes from `stripe generate app <name>`. Testing `fetchStripeSignature` or Secret Store must wait until `stripe apps upload`, since the signing secret is created during the first upload.

UI code must use Stripe SDK components rather than raw HTML or CSS frameworks, and it must stay within React 17 hooks. Full-page apps, custom objects, and extension interfaces require access to private preview before work begins.
