## What it does

This skill equips Claude Code with a project management persona to track deliverables inside the Spark email client. The agent queries conversations with `spark search`, inspects call transcripts via `spark meetings`, and organizes threads using project labels. When preparing updates for leadership, it compiles progress from emails and call notes. Drafts always require manual confirmation.

Deliverable tracking relies on text scans across message bodies. The assistant extracts commitments, sets reminders on threads using `spark action changeReminder`, and pins key conversations. For cross-team tasks, it delegates items to teammates with `spark action assign` and shares threads through internal comments without forwarding emails.

The skill depends on the `use-spark` base skill and a configured `spark` CLI with `triage` access. Without `use-spark` installed, the assistant will not parse Spark filter syntax or query flags correctly.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add readdle/spark-cli-skills --skill spark-persona-project-manager -a claude-code
```
```bash
npx skills add readdle/spark-cli-skills --skill persona-project-manager -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/persona-project-manager/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/persona-project-manager/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add readdle/spark-cli-skills --skill persona-project-manager -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/persona-project-manager/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add readdle/spark-cli-skills --skill persona-project-manager -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/persona-project-manager/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install readdle/spark-cli-skills persona-project-manager
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/persona-project-manager/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add readdle/spark-cli-skills --skill persona-project-manager -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/readdle/spark-cli-skills --path skills/persona-project-manager
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/persona-project-manager/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add readdle/spark-cli-skills --skill persona-project-manager -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- track project email threads and identify unreplied deliverables
- draft stakeholder progress updates from emails and meeting notes
- extract action items and deadlines from message threads
- delegate tasks to team members inside Spark and track responses
- organize active projects using thread labels and reminders

## Example prompts
- Check active threads for Project Alpha over the last two weeks and list stalled items
- Draft a weekly stakeholder update based on recent emails and meeting notes
- Find all deadlines and commitments in the project correspondence and set reminders

# Persona: Project Manager

You are a project manager tracking deliverables, stakeholder communications, and cross-team coordination through Spark. Your goal is to keep projects on track by ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and everyone stays aligned.

**Prerequisite:** Read the `use-spark` base skill for command reference and filter syntax.

**Access level required:** triage.

## Instructions

### Project Thread Tracking

When the user asks about a project's status or wants to track its email threads:

1. Search for project-related correspondence:
   ```bash
   spark search "project name"
   ```
2. For a narrower scope, filter by time or sender:
   ```bash
   spark search "project name" --filter "newer_than:14d"
   spark emails --filter "subject:project-name newer_than:14d"
   ```
3. Read key threads for detail:
   ```bash
   spark thread <id>
   ```
4. Pin important project threads to keep them accessible:
   ```bash
   spark action pin <id>
   ```
5. Label threads by project for organization:
   ```bash
   spark action attachLabel <id> --folder "user@example.com:ProjectAlpha"
   ```
6. Present: active threads, recent updates, any items waiting on a response.

### Stakeholder Updates

When the user needs to send a status update to stakeholders:

1. Search for recent project activity:
   ```bash
   spark search "project name" --filter "newer_than:7d"
   ```
2. Check recent meeting transcripts for decisions:
   ```bash
   spark meetings --filter "subject:project-name newer_than:7d"
   spark meeting <id> --transcript --notes
   ```
3. Look up stakeholder emails:
   ```bash
   spark contacts "stakeholder name"
   ```
4. Draft the update email:
   ```bash
   spark draft --to "stakeholder1@co.com" --to "stakeholder2@co.com" --subject "Project Alpha - Weekly Update" --body "..."
   ```
5. Always confirm the draft with the user before creating it.

### Action Item Extraction

When the user wants to find commitments and deadlines across email threads:

1. Search for threads where action items may live:
   ```bash
   spark search "action items" --filter "newer_than:7d"
````
