## What it does

The skill runs `skills/sound-fx/scripts/sfx.py` to turn a written sound description into an audio file saved on your machine. You can choose the duration, output format (`wav`, `mp3`, or `flac`), and destination path. Use it for effects such as footsteps, a door slam, or rain in the background.

You’ll need Python 3.6+, the `requests` package, and a Noiz API key. Provide the key through `NOIZ_API_KEY` or save it with the script’s configuration command. The prompt goes to Noiz over the network, and the resulting audio is downloaded locally. Generation won’t work without the API key. This skill is not for speech, melodic music, or voice cloning.

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add NoizAI/skills --skill sound-fx -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
