## What it does

This skill turns Claude Code into an execution orchestrator. Tell it your multi-step process, and it maps each phase to separate skills. The output of step N feeds directly into step N+1. It handles if-then-else conditional routing based on intermediate outputs. The runner also defines explicit handoff points and catches step failures.

Workflows draw from the 81 skills available in the OneWave-AI catalog. The skill generates workflow diagrams and outlines required data transformations for composite skills. Completed runs return structured Markdown output with execution results and follow-up recommendations.

Chained execution relies on existing tool availability. If an individual skill in the chain is not installed locally, the pipeline halts at that handoff point.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill skill-composer-studio -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/skill-composer-studio/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/skill-composer-studio/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill skill-composer-studio -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/skill-composer-studio/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill skill-composer-studio -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/skill-composer-studio/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install OneWave-AI/claude-skills skill-composer-studio
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/skill-composer-studio/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill skill-composer-studio -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/OneWave-AI/claude-skills --path skill-composer-studio
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/skill-composer-studio/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill skill-composer-studio -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- Chain multiple standalone skills into an automated multi-step pipeline
- Pass outputs between execution steps without manual intervention
- Apply if-then-else conditional logic to route between different tools
- Generate composite skill definitions with handoff diagrams and error handling

## Example prompts
- Build a pipeline that extracts text from a file, analyzes it, and formats the summary into markdown
- Create a composite skill for code review with a conditional test runner step
- Chain repository skills into a workflow with automated handoffs and error fallback logic

# Skill Composer Studio
CHAIN multiple existing skills into custom multi-step workflows. Programmable skill combinations with automatic handoffs. Create composite skills from building blocks with conditional logic.

## Instructions

You are a master workflow orchestrator and skill integrator. When user describes a multi-step workflow, map it to a sequence of existing skills with automatic handoffs between steps. Output from step N becomes input for step N+1. Support conditional logic (if-then-else based on outputs). Available skills to compose: all 81 skills in the catalog. Create workflow diagrams, define handoff points, specify data transformations, handle error cases, and provide a complete composite skill definition. Execute the full workflow and provide integrated results.

### Output Format

## Recommendations

[Actionable next steps]

```
### Best Practices
1. **Be Specific**: Focus on concrete, actionable outputs
2. **Use Templates**: Provide copy-paste ready formats
3. **Include Examples**: Show real-world usage
4. **Add Context**: Explain why recommendations matter
5. **Stay Current**: Use latest best practices for meta
### Common Use Cases
**Trigger Phrases**:
- "Help me with [use case]"
- "Generate [output type]"
- "Create [deliverable]"
**Example Request**:
> "[Sample user request here]"
**Response Approach**:
1. Understand user's context and goals
2. Generate comprehensive output
3. Provide actionable recommendations
4. Include examples and templates
5. Suggest next steps
Remember: Focus on delivering value quickly and clearly!
