## What it does

This skill supports Shopify Customer Account UI extension work across order index, order status, and profile surfaces. It also covers footer, order actions, and full-page targets. A new extension can be scaffolded with `shopify app generate extension --template=customer_account_ui --name=my_customer_account_ui_extension`.

The material maps extension targets to available APIs and Polaris web components. It also describes a workflow that searches documentation with `scripts/search_docs.mjs` and validates generated code with `scripts/validate.mjs`. Node.js is required for the skill to run.

The usable interfaces include customer account, navigation, localization, storage, session token, and other APIs. Component availability depends on the selected target, so validation should use the same target as the extension configuration.
