## What it does

This skill guides Shopify developers through finding relevant API documentation, drafting a GraphQL operation, and checking the result. Customer Account API works in an authenticated customer’s context and exposes that customer’s own data. It serves a different purpose from Admin API, which handles store management.

The skill uses `scripts/search_docs.mjs` to look up documentation and `scripts/validate.mjs` to check generated code. Node.js is required. Both scripts send usage details to Shopify; validation can also transmit the code being checked and related context. Set `OPT_OUT_INSTRUMENTATION=true` beforehand to disable that reporting.

Documentation search comes before code generation, and validation is required before returning code. If the scripts cannot run, those steps cannot be completed.
