## What it does

This skill calculates SOV by dividing brand mentions by the combined mentions of the brand and its locked competitor panel. It reports the result per platform and period. Its output includes the numerator, denominator, SOV percentage, source and a label for each cell.

It uses `hn.py`, `bluesky.py`, `fediverse.py`, `discourse.py`, `gdelt.py`, `tavily.py` and `pageviews.py` for public listening surfaces. Closed-platform figures come only from user exports. The skill can also produce a sentiment-weighted SOV read or an attention-share alternative based on Wikipedia pageviews; sentiment is labeled Estimated unless human-coded.

The competitor panel must stay fixed. Changing it logs a break and restarts the series, so combining the old and new trend would be misleading.
