## What it does

This skill builds the entire Messaging-in-App-and-Web stack for Agentforce inside Microsoft Teams ITSM via API calls, skipping the Setup UI. It creates an Enhanced Messaging Web channel with User Verification enabled, a `JWKS_URL` key set, the `Teams_AgentForce` embedded deployment, an Omni-Flow routing flow, and an Agent Access permission set for portal users. The deployment name is hard-wired in Salesforce Core config and cannot be changed.

Execution will fail if the employee portal site or an active Agentforce Employee Agent is missing. The skill requires `sf` CLI 2.0.0 or higher, Salesforce API version 67.0 or newer, and `OrgPreferences.ITSMTeamsEnabled`. Calls must run sequentially rather than in parallel blocks so every state-changing step is verified before proceeding.

When an agent joins a Teams conversation and leaves without answering, the breakdown is almost always a missing key set or unassigned agent permissions.

## Requirements
- Works with: Salesforce

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-teams-employee-agent-configure -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- deploy the Teams_AgentForce embedded service deployment via API without Setup UI
- fix the issue where the agent joins a Teams conversation and leaves without replying
- configure a JWKS_URL key set and attach it to the verified messaging channel
- assign the Agent Access permission set to the portal user

## Example prompts
- Set up employee agent in Teams
- Teams Ask AI Agent not responding, fix the MIAW deployment
- The agent joins then leaves without replying in Teams

# Configure the Embedded Agentforce Employee Agent in Microsoft Teams

Make the embedded Agentforce agent ("IT Service Employee Agent") actually **reply** inside the
Microsoft Teams ITSM custom client ("Salesforce Employee Assist" → "Ask AI Agent"). The Teams
custom client loads a Messaging-in-App-and-Web (MIAW) deployment at runtime by its
`esDeveloperName`, which is **hard-wired to `Teams_AgentForce`** in committed Core config
(`service-cloud-requestor-agent-miaw.configuration.json` / the Teams app manifest) — so the
Embedded Service Deployment **must be named exactly `Teams_AgentForce`** and cannot be renamed
per-org.

This is the hardest, most under-documented part of Teams ITSM. The full build-from-scratch
recipe — verified live against a real org — lives in:
