## What it does

Activation of a Fulfiller NGA agent can fail quietly: the `activate` call returns HTTP 200 with a `{success:false}` body saying the `svc_itsm_intelligence__*` invocable actions do not exist. This skill closes that gap. It first reads which of the three Core Fulfiller persona permsets (`IncidentFulfiller`, `ProblemFulfillerPermSet`, `ChangeRequestFulfillerPermSet`) are provisioned on the org, asks which persona to grant, then assigns it to the running user.

Four Node scripts carry the deterministic decisions: one splits the branches and sets the `needsPsl` flag, one pulls the running user Id from the `identity` URL, one checks whether the assignment already exists, and one verifies the action surface through `/actions/custom/generatePromptResponse`. Everything runs through the Salesforce CLI — `sf api request rest`, `sf data query`, `sf org assign permset`. No token is extracted and no MCP is involved.

You need an authenticated `sf` CLI pointed at the target org, API v67.0+, and `node` ≥ 18 on PATH. If none of the three persona permsets exist on the org, the skill stops and hands off to `service-itsm-agentic-setup-agentforce-studio-validate`, because the ITSM AddOn has to be enabled first. Employee-agent access is a different model and stays out of scope.

## Requirements
- Works with: Salesforce

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-itsm-agentforce-permset-assign -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

## When to use it
- grant yourself an Incident, Problem or Change Fulfiller persona permset
- diagnose why agent activation silently returns `success:false`
- list which Fulfiller persona permsets exist on the org
- assign the backing PSL before the permset when the persona is license-gated
- confirm the ITSM Intelligence invocable actions surface after assignment

## Example prompts
- activate the Fulfiller agent, it fails with missing actions — sort out the permsets
- assign me the IncidentFulfiller persona permset on this org
- check which of the three Fulfiller permsets exist and assign the right one
