## What it does

Configures an end-to-end SLA pipeline for incidents in Salesforce Service Cloud ITSM. It provisions Business Hours schedules, MilestoneTypes, the Incident-scoped SLA Policy (SlaProcess), and Milestone criteria. Once activated with entitlement generation, Incidents automatically receive an EntityMilestone record with a computed TargetDate.

All operations run via the headless-360 MCP server using the active OAuth session. The skill checks enablement gates for ITSM and Incident Management before dispatching calls to underlying capabilities like SLASettings and milestone endpoints. It requires CustomizeApplication permissions, orgHasITSMOrgPermission, and Salesforce API version 67.0 or higher.

The configuration works strictly with the Incident object; attempting to use it for standard Case entitlements will trigger an immediate stop.

## Requirements
- Works with: Salesforce

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-incident-sla-configure -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- configure an end-to-end Incident SLA policy in Service Cloud ITSM
- set up MilestoneTypes and milestone criteria for incidents
- define or link Business Hours schedules to SLA processes
- auto-provision entitlements for incidents via policy activation

## Example prompts
- Set up an Incident SLA policy for Service Cloud ITSM with default business hours
- Deploy the predefined Standard Support for Incidents SLA policy via headless-360
- Create a custom Incident SLA process with a First Response milestone

Use when the user asks to create or set up an Incident SLA policy (predefined or custom, with or without specific business hours), configure SLA milestones on Incidents, set up entitlement processes for ITSM, or enable SLA tracking for incident management. For Incidents, use this instead of the single-step SLA policy, milestone, or activation skills. DO NOT TRIGGER when: the user asks about Case entitlements or Case SLA (not Incident), querying existing SLA policies without setup intent, general Entitlement sObject CRUD unrelated to Incident, or Milestone queries for reporting purposes only."

# Configuring Incident SLA (End-to-End)

**First action, before any question to the user:** read the IT Service Enablement gate (Phase 1a) with
`dispatch_readonly` on `GET /services/data/v68.0/connect/setup/discovery/features`, filtered to the exact
apiName `service-cloud-itsm-setup`. Ask nothing else until it is `ENABLED`.

Configures a complete **Incident SLA pipeline** for Service Cloud ITSM — the chain deriving an
EntityMilestone (with a computed TargetDate) on every Incident with an Entitlement, all via the
Salesforce-hosted **`headless-360`** MCP server (org from the OAuth JWT). Requires the org-level
**IT Service Management enablement** (the Phase 1a gate) and **SLA Management for IT Service**
