## What it does

The skill walks you through ITSM setup tracks: Incident Management, Agentforce for ITSM, CMDB, channels (Portal, Notifications, Microsoft Teams, Slack) and Unified Catalog. It first scans the chat history for what is already configured, whether the Incident Management master switch is on, and any constraints you mentioned. Then it renders a track table and opens a paged multi-select in the same response.

Only tracks with a working sub-orchestrator show up in the menu. Picks accumulate across pages, so a selection on page 1 stays selected when you move to page 2. If `Full guided setup` is in the accumulated set, the skill runs every available track in dependency order, and still asks for confirmation between tracks. It runs no org-level prerequisites itself — the Incident Management master switch is confirmed inside its own sub-orchestrator. So don't expect org state to change before you pick a track.

Tracks run sequentially. Pick several and they execute in order, with no full menu re-shown in between. Status updates after each one, and at the end you can add the remaining tracks. The allowed tools are `Read` and `AskUserQuestion`, so this skill reads and asks while the sub-orchestrators do the configuring. On a long or resumed session the highlighted menu row can be stale; when it's ambiguous, the skill re-confirms which track is active.

## Requirements
- Works with: Slack, Salesforce

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill service-itsm-agentic-setup-configure -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- break ITSM setup into tracks and keep the order straight
- work out what is already configured from the chat history
- start several tracks in one pass with a multi-select
- route work to the right sub-orchestrators without hunting for them
- add the leftover tracks after the chosen ones finish

## Example prompts
- set up ITSM in Service Cloud and show me the available tracks
- what is needed to get ITSM running?
- set up CMDB and the Microsoft Teams channel

Use when the user asks to set up ITSM, configure service management, wants a guided walkthrough, or asks what is needed to get ITSM running. Presents a paged multi-select track menu and delegates to domain sub-orchestrators — Incident Management, Agentforce for ITSM, CMDB, Channels (Portal, Notifications, Microsoft Teams, Slack), and Unified Catalog (find and deploy Service Process templates). Prerequisites (e.g., the Incident Management master switch) are owned inside the relevant sub-orchestrator, not at this level. Triggers on: set up ITSM, configure service management, ITSM setup, get ITSM running, set up CMDB / channels / Teams / Slack / Agentforce for ITSM / Unified Catalog templates. DO NOT TRIGGER when: the user asks about a specific feature directly (e.g., the priority matrix alone), asks only about Case management, wants to create a single user, or asks general ITSM questions without setup intent."
