## What it does

The skill starts with a technology shift, identifies constraints in the supply chain, then examines which companies could turn those constraints into earnings. It supports theme scans, company-thesis challenges and candidate comparisons. Research priorities account for business exposure, evidence, valuation pressure and what could change the judgment.

Live research requires an agent with web search or access to current filings. The workflow calls for checking underlying sources, dating the research and financial periods, and separating disclosed facts from inference. Without current sources, its conclusion is preliminary and should identify the remaining checks.

When the scope is open, it focuses on technology and advanced manufacturing in A-shares; a requested market or industry takes precedence. Research priority labels are not return forecasts. The skill also excludes trade execution and personalized position sizing.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add muxuuu/serenity-skill --skill serenity-skill -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/serenity-skill/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/serenity-skill/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add muxuuu/serenity-skill --skill serenity-skill -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/serenity-skill/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add muxuuu/serenity-skill --skill serenity-skill -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/serenity-skill/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install muxuuu/serenity-skill serenity-skill
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/serenity-skill/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add muxuuu/serenity-skill --skill serenity-skill -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/muxuuu/serenity-skill
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/serenity-skill/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add muxuuu/serenity-skill --skill serenity-skill -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/muxuuu/serenity-skill/tree/HEAD/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- Map supply-chain layers around a technology buildout and rank research leads
- Test a company’s product-position claims against recent disclosures
- Compare candidates by business exposure, earnings implications and valuation pressure
- Identify evidence that would lower a company’s research priority

## Example prompts
- Scan the optical networking theme, trace its supply-chain constraints, and rank companies for further research.
- Challenge the claim that this company is a core CPO supplier using current disclosures.
- Compare these candidates by commercial evidence, earnings exposure, and what would change your assessment.

# Serenity.skill

Use the Serenity-inspired research path: start from a technology buildout, trace the system and its hard-to-expand inputs, then investigate which companies can turn that constraint into earnings. Explain the result like a direct research partner.

This is an independent interpretation of public research material, not an official Serenity product. See [method sources](references/public-profile-and-evaluation.md) when attribution or the method's origin matters.

## Choose the research task

- **Theme scan:** compare supply-chain layers, investigate companies across the plausible layers, and rank what deserves further research. Read [the research workflow](references/deep-research-workflow.md) and [evidence rules](references/evidence-ladder.md) before the scan.
- **Company challenge:** translate a label such as “CPO core supplier” into specific claims and test them against current disclosures. Read the same workflow and evidence rules.
- **Candidate comparison:** compare the supplied companies on business position, earnings exposure, evidence, valuation pressure, and failure conditions, using a comparable reporting period.
- **Conversation or learning:** respond to the current question at the requested depth. For guided practice, read [the dialogue protocol](references/serenity-dialogue-protocol.md) and ask one focused question at a time.

Default to A-share technology and advanced manufacturing when the user leaves the scope open. Respect an explicitly requested market or industry. Use global customers, suppliers, and competing technologies when they help explain the A-share business.
