## What it does

The skill tells your agent how to add Seeker Connect, a layer on top of the official Mobile Wallet Adapter libraries. Every wallet interaction opens a short-lived MWA session, runs one request and tears down, so reconnect loops and keep-alive logic work against the design. To the app it shows up as an ordinary Wallet Standard wallet named "Seeker Connect".

Pick one of three paths: Expo/React Native, Kotlin or web. The `expo-kit-minimal` and `kotlin-compose-minimal` templates from `npx solana-mobile@latest create` ship both mobile paths wired up, with no relay to configure and the branded UI drawn natively. On the web you call `registerSeekerConnect` before the first render; under SSR that call belongs in a client-only module or behind a `typeof window !== 'undefined'` guard.

It only completes on the device itself — on desktop the connect fails with `association-failed`. Sessions travel over a Nostr relay, and the SDK ships no default, so Solana Mobile points you at `relay.solanamobile.com`: free, production included, but you have to accept their terms. Use `0.1.2` or later. Earlier releases sat on Mobile Wallet Adapter 2.x, where a dropped session could leave a wallet call pending forever; `0.1.2` rejects it with `session-closed` instead.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add solana-mobile/solana-mobile-skills --skill seeker-connect -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/seeker-connect/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/seeker-connect/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add solana-mobile/solana-mobile-skills --skill seeker-connect -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/seeker-connect/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add solana-mobile/solana-mobile-skills --skill seeker-connect -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/seeker-connect/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install solana-mobile/solana-mobile-skills seeker-connect
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/seeker-connect/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add solana-mobile/solana-mobile-skills --skill seeker-connect -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/solana-mobile/solana-mobile-skills --path skills/seeker-connect
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/seeker-connect/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add solana-mobile/solana-mobile-skills --skill seeker-connect -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/solana-mobile/solana-mobile-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/seeker-connect/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- connect a wallet to an Expo app on a Seeker phone
- add Solana sign-in to a web dapp
- sign a message or transaction with the built-in wallet
- register the Wallet Standard wallet at startup
- debug an `association-failed` connect error

## Example prompts
- Add Seeker Connect wallet connection to my Expo project
- Register the "Seeker Connect" wallet and set `relayDomain` for my web dapp
- Why does my connect fail with `association-failed`?

# Seeker Connect

Seeker Connect links a web page open in the browser **on the device** to a Solana Mobile
certified device's own wallet — Seeker is the first such device. It is a dapp-only SDK built
on top of the official Mobile Wallet Adapter libraries: a UX/DX layer, not a protocol
reimplementation. Where generic MWA centers on a "pick a wallet" chooser, Seeker Connect
launches the device wallet directly through the MWA spec's Endpoint-specific URI (Android
App Link) mechanism, carries the session over a Nostr relay, and ships Seeker-branded
progress and error UI — all exposed to the app as an ordinary Wallet Standard wallet named
**"Seeker Connect"**.

Targets: **Expo / React Native, Kotlin, and web are all available.** For an Expo or React
Native app, read the mental model below, then follow
[references/react-native.md](references/react-native.md); for a Kotlin app,
[references/kotlin.md](references/kotlin.md). The `expo-kit-minimal` and
`kotlin-compose-minimal` templates of `npx solana-mobile@latest create` ship each path wired
up. Both expose the same client API as the web, with no relay to configure and the branded UI
drawn natively. The rest of this file walks the web
path. Plain Mobile Wallet Adapter in React Native, without Seeker Connect, is the
`solana-mobile-wallet` skill.

## The mental model — read this before writing code

- **There is no long-lived connection.** Every wallet interaction (connect, sign message,
  sign transaction) opens its own short-lived MWA session, runs one request, and tears down.
  Each interaction launches the wallet app and shows a branded progress overlay — the one
  exception is a silent connect, which only reads the cache and never opens a session. This
