## What it does

search-demand looks for questions people ask before buying and checks where a site is missing from search results or AI answers. It draws on Search Console, Bing, connected SEO services, sales questions, and AI systems. Its output can be a brief for a page, comparison, or calculator tied to a specific gap.

The skill has `scan`, `ai-check`, and `page` modes. Use `scan` to collect questions and gaps, `ai-check` to review AI-answer visibility, or `page` to brief a page or tool. Cogny costs $9/mo, and Google Search Console must be connected. Bing Webmaster, Semrush, and Ahrefs are used when connected; analysis depends on Cogny MCP being available.

You can install it in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, or OpenCode. For Claude Code, the install command adds the skill from its repository, with the file at `~/.claude/skills/search-demand/SKILL.md`.
