## What it does

The skill builds video scripts around a five-step structure: an opening hook in the first 5 seconds, the problem or insight, the solution story, proof points, and a single call to action. It targets explainer videos, customer testimonials, and product walkthroughs.

Output formats include a two-column script layout with voiceover, visuals, motion notes, and timing. It also provides a storyboard grid and a voice checklist. Visual cues cover B-roll, overlays, text callouts, and motion direction.

Short cutdowns like a 15s teaser or a 6s bumper are planned from the start. You still need to supply your brand positioning and compliance guidelines upfront, because the skill builds directly on those inputs.

# Video Scriptwriting Systems Skill

## When to Use

## Framework

5. **CTA** – single next step (demo, trial, download, subscribe).

## Templates
- Script template with columns for VO/dialogue, visuals, motion notes, duration.
- Storyboard grid with frame, description, audio, graphics, CTA.
- Tone/voice checklist (personality traits, jargon allowances, compliance notes).

## Tips
- Write for ear: short sentences, contractions, conversational tone.
- Add direction for B-roll, overlays, animations, and text callouts.
- Plan variant clips (15s teaser, 6s bumper, square stories) from the start.
